Another great ‘Classic of Magic’ re-visited and brought to you for The Victorian Collection…The Blocks come in various sizes but the illustrated version measures (approx) 4 inches square and has been made from one of the 'Turner's Favourites' Speckled Beech, this highly unusual wood often used for bowls and decorative objects chosen for it's distinctive markings caused by fungal disease in the wood...now used for this delightful classic magic effect....this highly visual routine has served a long apprenticeship in Parlour and Stage Magic, but has always been a favourite of many Magician’s since it offers great audience participation and magical entertainment in it’s purest form…
The Wooden Block is shown to the Spectator and then the rope is passed through the centre hole and a knot is tied to secure it…as if by magic the block seems to melt through the rope and fall onto the table…leaving the rope in tact…there are many ‘methods’ well documented to perfect this routine for your Magic…this beautiful hard wood block presented in our signature corduroy bag is another unique addition to our Collection for you to enjoy…
