The Harlequin Collection
One of our Original Collections Re-Visited...
The original ‘Harlequin Collection’ goes back to 2007 and was inspired by a long weekend visit to Venice…we had also discovered the joy of working with different exotics and laminating them together…Purple Heart, Amarillo and Ebony worked extremely well together and produced an unusual ‘Art Deco’ aesthetic to the magic we were making at the time… adding colour and a unique and distinctive look that really did create something special…‘The Harlequin Collection ‘was born…
Recently Colin was asked by a friend to recreate this distinctive look again and make some pieces for his collection, the pleasure of working with these woods after such a long time has inspired us to re-visit this collection and Colin has made some issues that were not in the original collection…we will add the new effects as he makes them…those of you who bought ‘The Harlequin Collection’ before can now do so again and add to your earlier pieces….
