This iconic table which takes the name from its inventor was devised as a ‘walk on gag’...You walk out with a Newspaper or Magazine under your arm....you need a table and one has not been provided...no problem you are a Magician, suddenly your Newspaper/Magazine turns into a Table...which guarantees you a rapturous applause and a magical start to your show.

This table was originally made by Colin out of a strong plastic but as with many of our products they evolve and he began offering this table made from 6mm Clear Perspex, with Silver Spring Hinges & Livery and with a Rectangle folding top fixed to the stand...giving the new Edition a Contemporary Look & Feel to it, making it suitable for all kinds of performance venues...

Now... after a recent commission to make this table with a Picture Frame Top …Colin has decided to add a wooden version of this ever increasingly popular table to our Collection. The Illustrated Table shows a large ornate Frame and the table is finished in black, but a wooden rectangle Top will be the default Table Top on this Issue unless a Picture Frame is requested…
